A holiday to Sardinia is a wonderful choice for a relaxing break amid beautiful scenery. The scenery is impressive, amazing white sandy beaches and azure blue seas with an interior that is rugged and inspiring. Large rock formations forming the basis of the landscape.

The north of Sardinia around the area of Porto Pollo is also famous if not synonymous with water sports. The wind get funnelled here through the Straits de Maddelina which creates a venture-effect, accelerating the wind between Corsica and Sardinia. Porto Pollo is a hot spot for kitesurfing, wind surfing and sailing and the north of Sardinia is also a very good spot for scuba diving with visibility up to 40m.

Sardinia is officially part of Italy, lying some 200 miles west of the Italian mainland. It has more than 1,000 miles of coastline with over 300 beaches.
