La Plagne is a fatastic ski resort for mixed ability groups or a family ski holiday. La Plagne itself is made up of 6 villages, Plagne Bellecote, Belle Plagne, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800 and Aime La Plagne.

La Plagne is linked to Vallandry-Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express to provide a vast skiing area with over 425km of pistes and 626 snow cannons known as the Paradiski. The ski area also has 2 snowparks and 3 bordercrosses. La Plagne itself has 225km of pistes 1 snowpark, 3 bordercrosses and a halfpipe.

La Plagne is also famous for its Bobsleigh which was built for the 1992 Winter Olympics and is situated in the heart of the La Plagne ski area at La Roche. You can either do a group Bob Raft or a solo decent down the ice walled Bobsleigh.
