Summer Holidays in Chamonix.

In summer the Chamonix valley is a luscious green expanse of pastures bathed in sunshine. Perfect for those days to go hiking and see alpine glaciers without their winter coats of snow or for mountain biking the paths through the forests that stretch up the valley. Of course Chamnix is famous for the Mont Blanc and every year thousands of people come to Chamonix to attempt to climb the summit of Mont Blanc.

For hiking entusiasts there are 100's of kilometers of trails on both sides of the valley as well as routes into Itlay and Switzerland. For rock climbing there are also lots of spots in the valley for sports and trad climbers of all levels. For cross country mountain biking there are 100's of kilometers of trails climing up from the valley or using the ski lifts. Chamonix is also continuously developing its downhill mountain biking routes and cross country trails.
